Vicem Yachts, a Turkish company specialized in building luxurious yachts, has just revealed their third line of yachts called the Vanguard Line. This new line of yachts will include the 13.9 metre Vanguard 45 and the 10 metre Vanguard 33, two beautiful yacht which blend elegance with performance and state of the art technology.
The exterior and interior design of the new Vanguard Line is made by the company’s in-house styling department while the naval architecture was developed by Michael Peters. The Vanguard has been initially designed and built as a stand alone motor yacht, but it fits perfectly into the role of a luxurious superyacht tender.
The Vicem Yachts Vanguard has a retractable bating platform in the stern, hideaway bimini tops over the cockpit and a foredeck solarium among its many features. Thanks to twin turbo Volvo IPS 600 engines which produce 435 horsepower, the boat is able to reach a top speed of 34 knots with reduced fuel usage and emissions.
But the Turkish yacht builders can also equip this small yacht with more powerful twin MAN R6 engines which develop 800 horsepower and could take the Vanguard to a top speed of 52 knots. The first Vanguard yacht from Vicem will be ready in the Autumn of 2011.
